Looking back on old shots

A summer moonrise

Saturday, December 26, 2009

On a Clear Day You CAN See Forever . . .
. . . at least you can see almost to Seattle.
Double click on this photo and the small (at least it appears small) snow-covered mountain to the left is Mt. Rainier; to the right is what remains of Mt. St. Helens. This shot was taken from the St. John's Bridge in NW Portland, 100+ miles away, last January, but it looked just like this again today.
(Forgive me for not hiking to mid-span on the bridge
in 20 mile per hour winds to get an identical shot.)

Sorry for the long absence.
It's been a very busy holiday season.
I hope to be back regularly in the new year. . .
with new equipment:):):):):):)
Merry Christmas from Portland.
